Jack Throne, writer of “His Dark Material”, has now revealed about the cut episodes of his masterpiece.

Because of COVID-19, filming restrictions were to be adhered to. Following that, a solo episode was not premiered featuring James McAvoy, playing role of Lord Asriel.

Jack Throne explained that this is very uncertain whether that episode will be going to air ever or not. Story has been scripted along with Philip Pullman.

“It took a lot of time to write script of “His Dark Material” but doesn’t even much time was taken to adhere the decision to cancel that. It was very upsetting as the script was very good. But we can’t do anything now as.”

Executive producer said- “This episode was unique from seven previous episodes. The unique thing was that it was a solo episode written by Jack with the blessings of Philip Pullman.”

BBC is return with its season 2 showing the chemistry between Lyra and Will played by Dafne Keen and Amir Wilson who went out to explore Cittagezze- a parallel world full of desert where adult people has run away from anonymous danger called Spectres.

In UK, “His Dark Material” will continue to premiere on Sunday at 8 PM sharp on BBC One. And in US, season 2 will be down the road from Sunday- 15th November itself on HBO Max.
