Lots of people have the misconception that the series is going to be based on the “lord of rings” book. However, this is not true. The series is related to J.R.R Tolkien’s book. It is the story of thousand years ago even before the trilogy of the Lords of the rings. The faces are also going to be different from the previous one. Two or three may show up again.
Amazon prime has confirmed the release date of the series as 8 September 2022. The already super hit series is directed by the J.A Bayona. He directed famous movies like Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom. The series was shot back in May 2022. Director himself posts the pictures behind the scenes.
The earlier team was about to release the series in December 2021 but the plan got canceled because of the world pandemic covid-19. However, without the pandemic, the delay was confirmed.
Because third episode shooting began after the gap of four to five months from the shooting of the first two episodes. The gap was to check what things are going good and what was not. Runners have also launched the first poster for season two. There is an official synopsis also that shows some new faces of the series.
