Vertical Entertainment Acquires North American Rights to the Musical ‘A Fairy Tale After All’

Vertical Entertainment has acquired the musical fantasy A Fairy Tale After All. Releasing in selected theaters on February 18, 2022.

Erik Peter Carlson produces, writes, and directs Sky. A high school student is magically transported to the fairy tale kingdom of Celestia, where the villagers refer to her as Princess Geneva. She soon finds herself on a perilous journey to save her father.

Brian Hull provides the voice of the main puppet character in this Labyrinth-like film, which is live-action with puppets. Gabriel Burrafato, Bridget Winder, Timothy N. Kopacz, and voice actress Anna Brisbin are among the cast members. Chelsi Hardcastle, a singer-songwriter, wrote and performed five original songs for the album.

Vertical and Premiere Entertainment Group have agreed to terms.

Vertical Entertainment Also Purchased ‘Dial A prayer’

“Dial a Prayer,” has been purchased by Vertical Entertainment for North American distribution. In the spring of 2015, the film will be shown in theatres.

The film stars Brittany Snow, William H. Macy, and Glenne Headly. When Rich Goldberg and Mitch Budin attended the Sundance Film Festival in 2015, they struck a deal with Jason Potash, Paul Finkel, and other executives from XYZ Films and Preferred Content.

A young woman working at a prayer hotline is the subject of the film. As a result of the people who come to her for help, she must find a way to reconcile her past with the faith she preaches.

Maggie Kiley wrote and directed “Dial a Prayer,” Storyboard’s Paul Finkel and Jason Potash, Dan Hyman, Marcus Dean Fuller, and Julie S. Fuller created it. In conjunction with Compass Entertainment, Storyboard Entertainment financed and produced the film.

For the benefit of the filmmakers, Rich Goldberg and Peter Jarowey, vice presidents of acquisitions at Vertical, worked with Marc Bortz, Mette-Marie Katz, and Elsa Ramo to secure the deal.
