The All Elite Wrestling console game that was announced in recent times has now started to flaunt about it possible new game features. Kenny Omega the executive president of AWE talks about the new game in an interview.
In the interview with IGN Japan, Omega discussed about the game mode that will be available in the game. To start off there will be campaign mode where players will be able to go through the actual AWE experience with their favorite wrestler. Next he said that there will be a multiplayer mode in the game. The third category of game mode will be create-a-wrestler. In this the players will be able to make their own custom made wrestler. They will be able to control every aspect of him/her which includes hairstyle, hair color, body type, skin color, looks, etc.
Omega then went on to discuss the possible wrestlers who will be the part of the game. He said that nothing is confirmed yet as to who would be the part of game and who would not be. He continued by stating that he has also employed Hideyuki “Geta” Iwashita as an advisor for the game. Iwashita is a veteran wrestling game producer. He also stated that the game will be influenced by the 1990s and early 2000s wrestling games. He concluded by saying that all though the company was aiming for a 2020 release but he personally does not want to rush it as he want the end product to be the best.
Looks like a very detailed and a well-researched wrestling game is in the making. Lets wait and watch how things turn out for the AWE game.
