‘Winning Time’ Trailer: New Hbo Max Series Focusing On Legacy Of The L.A. Lakers Debuts March 6

Sports documentaries are being made by the truck load these days it seems. The latest one is named ‘Winning Time’ and is going to focus on a legendary NBA team L.A. Lakers. Here are the details about the same.

The television series has been created by Jim Hecht and Max Borestein. The series will be based on a book by Jeff Pearlman. The book is known as ‘Showtime: Magic Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s’. There are two production companies involved in the making of this documentary which are Hyperobject Industries and Steeplechase Amusements. Cast And Plot

The series will have Quincy Isaiah as Magic Johnson, Jason Clarke as Jerry West, and John C. Reilly as Jerry Buss. Other than this main cast there is a long list of talented actors and actresses who will be featured in this documentary.

The documentary will focus at that time of the L.A. Lakers team when Magic Johnson used to play for the team. It was a very successful time for the team and its player used to define the sport on the court and off the court.

The documentary has been shot in the fashion of a series. This means that there are going to be 10 episodes of this documentary. The documentary’s first episode will premiere on the HBO TV channel and HBO Max streaming service simultaneously on 6th March 2022.

This documentary will be interesting to see as it also focuses on the personal life of the players who used to play for the L.A. Lakers.
