What is the feature?
The WhatsApp feature is that now iPhone users will soon be able to make group voice calls. So far, this feature was not available on WhatsApp at all.
Some time ago, the feature was rolled out for Android phone users. With the new feature, all Android phone users can now make group voice calls by simply clicking on the call icon on the top-right corner.
The voice call will also have voice waves. This very feature has now been rolled out for iPhone users in the BETA program of the app.
The people at WhatsApp have said that right now only selected iPhone users to have access to the new feature. With time, more and more iPhone users will get the new feature. Besides the new group voice call feature is not the only new thing in the update. There is something else as well.

A second feature?
Yes, you guessed it right. The update brings in a second new feature as well. The second feature of WhatsApp is that now you will be able to listen to a voice message even after closing the app. The voice message will play in the background. For the voice message, there is going to a play/pause button pinned in the notification bar. The button will be there till the message is playing. On top of this, the voice messages now will also have voice waves.
Just like the first feature, the second feature for iPhone users is right only available for the BETA testers. With time, the feature will be available for all.
