NCIS Season 19 will premiere on CBS in September, which means that fans will finally get explanations to their pressing questions from last season’s spectacular finale.

We’ll learn how the crew deals with Ellie Bishop’s (Emily Wickersham) departure in the new NCIS episodes, meet new actors and discover what occurred to Gibbs (Mark Harmon) after he faked his death.

Outside of the show’s narrative, a lot has changed. NCIS will air a new episode on a different night than it has been on in the past, and a new spin-off will join it.

NCIS will air at a different date and time in the upcoming television season, from 2021 to 2022. After nearly four years on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., the 19th season will broadcast on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT. The premiere of the upcoming season, titled “Blood in the Water,” will take place on September 20, 2021.

NCIS has a new performer after Maria Bello quit the series last season due to her work on Wickersham and Jack Sloane. Gary Cole, well known for his roles in Veep and The Good Fight, will appear as series regular and FBI Special Agent Alden Park in the forthcoming season.

CBS has released no information about this mystery individual, which has led to many fan conjecture that he could be the serial killer the crew was seeking for most of last season.

Despite the network’s insistence that the role is not meant to replace Gibbs, Mark Harmon is cutting back on his time on the programme in Season 19, even if the description for the first episode of the season still lists him as a series regular.

A returning cast member who made their debut at the end of last season will have a larger part in the forthcoming episodes. Katrina Law, who played hostage negotiator Jessica Knight in Season 18 of Hawaii Five-O, will return for Season 19 as a regular cast member.

The synopsis for the premiere episode says that the show would begin up just where it left off in the last season. Then, he was investigating a serial murderer with reporter Marcie Warren (Pam Dawber), who authored an exposé on him. As the NCIS team hunts for Gibbs just after wreck from his boat is located.”

The series’ co-showrunner Steven D. BInder remarked in an interview with TV Line: “Gibbs has been on the prowl for the killer for some time. Unfortunately, he’s shut off from the rest of his squad, but that’s about to change in the early episodes.”
