All about Fate: The Winx Saga

Created and executive produced by Brian Young, Fate: The Winx Saga is a new drama series that dropped on January 22, 2021, on Netflix. The show is inspired by the popular Nickelodeon animated series called Winx Club.

It was one of the most viewed cartoon shows. Plus, it was created by Iginio Straffi and had a fun and adventurous storyline. On the other hand, the Netflix version is a darker version than the cartoon series. Moreover, it also has different subplots and characters.

The teen drama gained attention and also both good and bad reviews from the viewers. The plot centers around Abigail Cowen’s Bloom, who is a fire fairy. The 16 years old was raised on earth by her human parents.

Moreover, she studies in Otherworld’s magic college called Alfea College. As the series progresses, she finds out that she is the ‘changeling’ in the series. The plot has a darker story than the cartoon, with different characters and subplots.

After watching the series, some did not understand what the word ‘changeling’ means. In the series itself, her fellow fairy Aisha (played Precious Mustapha), tells her what changeling means. The word means that the fairy baby got switched with a human baby after birth. Bloom denies what Aisha says and tells her that she is a miracle baby.

There are some theories that Bloom is adopted by her human parents, and she is not related to them by blood. Later, she begins her own research on what is a changeling, and that leads her to doubt her existence.

After hearing Aisha’s claim, it makes her think more about it. There are rumors that Farah Dowling (played by Eve Best) switched Bloom with a human baby after her birth. Later, other fairies get obsessed with Bloom after realizing that she is a changeling.

Sadie Soverall tells Bloom that both orphans belong from the same place called Aster Dale, which was ruined by Evil Rosalind. Later, it is revealed that Bloom is a fairy of a Dragon Flame, and that means that she has the power to control fire. Besides, her abilities come from channeling her emotions.

That is all revealed so far in the series. We believe that changeling is a mystery for Bloom and the viewers, and it will be revealed in the future of the series.
