The annual Met Gala organized by The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Vogue is scheduled to take place on 13th September, which is now only a month away. It’s one year of absence due to the COVID-19 has got the gala fans already on their feet. Now the fans must follow protocols to make the event a success even in a time like this.

THE PROTOCOLS TO BE FOLLOWED
As we all know, the threat that COVID-19 posed a year ago is still pretty much there. The absence of one year due to the COVID-19 means that this year’s gala is going to attract a lot of people. To ensure their safety, the organizers have made it mandatory for all those who are attending the gala to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Attendees must carry proof stating that they are vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition to this, every attendee is supposed to wear a mask and they are only to remove the masks while eating something or taking a drink.
THE FOOD THAT WILL BE SERVED
This year, the attendees at the Met Gala 2021 will only be getting vegan food. This has been confirmed by Anna Wintour who has personally hired chefs specializing in vegan food. No products containing any kind of animal meat or remains will be served at the event.
THEME, ANCHORS, AND GUEST OF HONORS
The theme for this year’s gala has been decided as “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”. The event will be hosted by Billie Eilish, Noami Osaka the famous tennis player, Amanda Gorman and Timothée Chalamet. The guest of honor for the event will be Tom Ford and Anna Wintour.
