On television, the United Kingdom consistently provides good crime procedures. Fans of this genre, such as “Broadchurch,” starring David Tennant and Olivia Coleman, and “Silent Witness,” which debuted in 1996 and has since aired for 23 seasons and counting, are not without British criminal dramas.
Despite the fact that new dramas are constantly being released, ongoing shows tend to develop loyal fans, as seen with “Line of Duty” on BBC and Unforgetten on ITV, which consistently top their ratings charts.
The latter series, which premiered in 2015, follows a team of detectives in London led by DCI Cassie Stuart (Nicola Walker) and DS Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan as they investigate cold cases (Sanjeev Bhaskar).
Each season of “Unforgotten” focuses on a new cold case in which Cassie and Sunny are assigned to follow and track the people involved. In 4th season of “Unforgotten,” the remains of a 17-year-old boy were discovered while a house was being demolished. At the same time, the duo’s personal lives are changing, with Cassie’s relationship with her father focusing on seasons 3 and 4 after he is diagnosed with dementia.
Season 4 of “Unforgotten” on ITV in March, and fans are looking forward to Season 5 – especially the final shock of season 4.

Cast of “Unforgotten Season 5”
People have returned to “Unforgotten” season 5 because of Cassie and Sunny’s relationship in dealing with cases. Their partnership comes to an end at the end of Season 4, when Cassie dies from a brain injury sustained in a car accident. In a statement published on Twitter’s Official Show, ITV thanked Walker for “playing the brilliant role of Cassie Stuart,” and Walker and Lang decided that Cassie would end in the fourth season. The statement went on to say that “the show will return for season 5 with new cases and a new “partner in crime” for DI Sunny Khan.”
