2 States is a film adaptation of a 2009 novel by Chetan Bhagat named 2 States: The Story Of My Marriage. It stars Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in leading roles. It chronicles two college lovers who hope to get their parents’ approval to get married, but their cultural differences come in their way. In the end, they fight the prejudice of society and unite.
4. Jab We Met (When We Met)
The film centers around a depressed businessman named Aditya and a chatterbox named Geet. They run into each other after they miss their train to Delhi. Since then, they get stranded together. Aditya assists her in getting back to her boyfriend and also helps her to take her home to her worried family. The film stars Shahid Kapoor as Aditya and Kareena Kapoor as Geet.
5. Tamasha (Spectacle)
So you like not-so-typical love stories? Then this film is the right pick for you. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, the film takes us to Corisa, where two strangers meet and spend their vacation together. They feel attracted to each other, but they decide to keep their true identities a secret and enjoy their vacation.
