It’s nearly three months since from the release of the Microsoft Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. However, after three months from the launch still, the company is struggling to meet buyers demand for these new consoles.
As per some reports, this stock shortage of new consoles is expected to carry until April 2021.
But, on various sources, it’s been said by Phil Spencer Xbox boss who assured their fans regarding the stock shortage. He said that the company is working to meet the demand as hard as they can. The main focus of the company is currently on Xbox Series X stock availability.
Moreover, the executive further revealed that after seeing such a high demand he even reached out to AMD. But AMD for what? To ask them if they could manufacturer processor with an increased speed that eventually will help reach the demand.
Spencer told Hyrb that people are standing out with many questions in mind like- Why there’s less production of these console? Why didn’t the company ship those earlier? and many more.
He further added that they are not holding the production or stepping back. Apart from this, they are building them as fast as they could with everything looks on track and time.
As because the company produces chips for both consoles and PS5. Hence, it will not be easy for AMD to produce processor for both at the same time.
