What would you do if we told you that we have found a suitable character who can defeat Hulk? Well, recently, Thor: Ragnarok confirmed that Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) is strong enough to defeat our green beast in the MCU. You still don’t believe us? Then keep scrolling and read it yourself!
Valkyrie can beat Hulk easily in one on one battle!
As we all know, Hulk is one of the most powerful characters in MCU. Before appearing as the Champion of Sakaar, in Thor: Ragnarok, he was last spotted flying in a quinjet in space at the end of Age of Ultron. As soon as the third installment of Thor dropped, fans discovered that he ended up in an unknown destination of the galaxy.
We saw a different Hulk than the Marvel Cinematic Universe has shown before in the films. Instead of turning back to the original form from Hilk to Bruce Banner, the Devil Hulk took complete control over the Doc. In the film, he could speak and had some intelligence, while still keeping his angry and brute character. He proved that he was the unbeatable champion in the Grandmaster’s ring on Sakaar.
Hulk fans, we are sorry to have to tell you that Hulk isn’t unbeatable! Thor would have easily defeated him in the ring if Grandmaster did not interfere. Besides, when Hulk did not immediately join Grandmaster’s gladiator-style games. In the film, Grandmaster clearly said that Valkyrie captured and brought Hulk. She also caught Thor for the same purpose.
If you see carefully, Valkyrie’s ship was well equipped with numerous weapons along with an electric net to overpower and subdue God of Thunder. So we are pretty sure that she easily defeated Hulk. Thor: Ragnarok proves that she has enough strength to take the green beast down in one on one combat.
In one scene of the film, fans also saw Valkyrie arriving in Hulk’s room. The duo had a fun fighting session where Valkyrie threw a series of kicks and punches. Even Iron Man could not manage to take him down, but here on Sakaar, Valkyrie easily dropped Hulk. Both of them were having fun, but it gave us a glimpse at how Valkyrie could have defeated Hulk in the past, and she could do that again.
Conclusion
Fans enjoyed the fun moments of Valkyrie and Hulk, but the chances of them coming together in MCU are very low. As of now, Valkyrie has become the King of Asgard, and she will be seen in Thor: Love and Thunder soon. Meanwhile, we have no clue when will Doc Green appear in the future. After Avengers: Endgame, he much weaker and won’t be able to fight against the foes. So the likelihood of them fighting together is zero, but we might see her combat skills in the upcoming film.
