It has been 18 long years since the last movie in “The Matrix” trilogy came out. Thus, it is a treat that finally the next chapter of the story is coming out.
And now, the fourth movie has been directed by Lana Wachowski. Village Roadshow Pictures and Venus Casting Productions are jointly producing the movie.
Warner Bros. Pictures will be distributing the movie.
They have released the trailer for the movie on their YouTube channel.
The movie will release in the theater and will be available for streaming on HBO Max on the same day that is 22nd December 2021.
THE MATRIX 4 CAST AND PLOT
Keanu Reaves will once again be seen as Neo, the main protagonist of the movie series. Carrie-Anne Moss will also once again be seen as Trinity, Neo’s girlfriend.
Furthermore, we have a new Morpheus though in the form of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and there are speculations that Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is also part of the movie.
Her character details have not been made public yet.
As for the plot, Reaves has hinted that the fourth movie will be highly backed by the love story of Neo and Trinity. He went on to confirm that the new movie will not be a prequel to 1999 the movie “The Matrix”.
What aspect of the love story will the fourth part will duel into? Only time can tell.
