Lucasfilm and Disney+ are pushing their Star Wars properties with The Book of Boba Fett and the impending Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Mandalorian, Disney+’s most-watched series, is a dependable cornerstone of Star Wars TV programming. And we won’t have to wait long for Season 3 of The Mandalorian.

Here’s what we have got you all to soothe your curiosity about The Mandalorian, Season 3!!

Film update

The director of the show, Carl Weathers, posted an official post on 29th of March on social media (Twitter) indicating the completion of The Mandalorian Season 3.

Yes, fans and lovers of The Mandalorian, the film is finally wrapped up!

Weathers confirmed the story by retweeting a message from the Star Wars Stuff account. The initial tweet stated that the show’s creation for the upcoming season had been completed and included a photo of a presentation delivered to the wardrobe department. The response from Weather was rather sweet as he tweeted “And what a season of wonderfulness!”

The wait is not long for the season to be officially released.

Furthermore, the rumors suggest that it’s been almost two years since the second season debuted, so season 3 is most likely to reach us by Christmas 2022.

A peek on the cast

Weathers, Pedro Pascal, who plays the eponymous bounty hunter, and Giancarlo Esposito have all been confirmed as members of the Mandalorian Season 3 cast.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Lloyd will also appear in Season 3 of The Mandalorian.

The news of the Back to the Future actor’s involvement was revealed on March 18. But the specifics of this rumored guest-starring role are being kept under wraps. Moreover, Rosario Dawson and Katee Sackhoff could reprise their roles as Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan, respectively.

Temuera Morrison portrayed Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen portrayed Fennec Shand in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, and then went on to star in The Book of Boba Fett, a sequel that follows the story arc of The Mandalorian.

The most pressing concern on everyone’s mind is whether or not Mark Hamill will reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in Season 3 of The Mandalorian. And here comes the piece of information, that there is no confirmation of Hamill debuted for his come back or for more.

The plot of season 3

The season 2 finale hinted that Mando and Grogu would be separated until Season 3. Yet the finale of The Book of Boba Fett really revealed that reunion. Moving forward, the episode ended with a short shot of Mando soaring with Grogu. And thus we can say that it is setting the stage for the upcoming season of The Mandalorian.

As a result, it’s probable that Boba Fett and Fennec Shand will make an appearance in the new season.

The only way to know for sure is to wait and see.

According to Esposito, The Mandalorian Season 3 will expand the franchise’s universe even further. Also, the Creator and writer Jon Favreau keep the specifics of the series a closely guarded secret (most of the cast and crew were unaware of Hamill’s presence).

So, tell us, are all the excitement for the release of season 3. Because we hope will be on television by Christmas 2022? Tell us about your jitters for the release of season 3?
