The Lost Daughter’s Release Date Has Yet To Be Determined

The Lost Daughter will have its world premiere on September 3, 2021, at the 78th Venice International Film Festival. Maggie Gyllenhaal won the Golden Osella Award for Best Screenplay for her work on the film.

At the same time, the film was screened at the Telluride Film Festival, the Hamptons Film Festival, the Mill Valley Film Festival, and the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey.

A number of countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, have purchased Netflix’s rights to distribute the film in its entirety.

As a result, after a brief run in theatres, the film will be made available for viewing on streaming services as well. The Lost Daughter will be released in theatres and on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
