Even though the last episode of The Legend of Korra, the fans of the show have never ruled out the possibility of the show returning for another season.

Byrne as Bolin, J.K. Simmons as Tenzin and Seychelle Gabriel as Asami Satio. There could be a few additions in the cast depending upon the story arc that season 5 will follow. Plot for The Legend of Korra season 5
From the ending of season 4 we know that Korra and Asami are right now on a vacation in the spirit world. Season 5 could show us what all these 2 friends have been doing in the spirit world.
Along with this, there could be a parallel storyline focusing on Kuvira after her defeat. She could be planning for another evil plan of hers to conquer the Republic City again. If she is indeed planning something like that, then the vacation of Korra and Asami could be cut short.
Whatever happens, we all should keep one thing in our minds for now. And that is no official announcement about the cast has been made.
Things could change by the time we get an official announcement from Netflix.
So, the thing to look forward for now is to see when The Legend of Korra gets renewed for season 5. It could happen this year, the next year, or maybe even years. We can’t say for certain.
