The latest recoupling on Love Island results in the exit of another islander

This was another recoupling on Love Island tonight (August 11), and the islander who wasn’t selected was evicted. Girls had to pick which males they preferred with the advent of three new bombshells in the last few days.

Priya Gopaldas, 23, a medical student from New York, was in the villa on Monday, while Brett Staniland, a 27-year-old PHD student and model, was in the villa on last night’s show. Today, Priya was divided between Matthew (who had previously been paired up with Kaz) and the new boy Brett on tonight’s episode of “The Bachelorette.”

To go on a date, Brett chose Priya who looked to be taken by his attractiveness and the idea that he’ll soon be Dr Brett. “I’m not sure what I’m doing,” Priya confessed to the girls when she returned to the villa “… [Brett’s] such a darling. He had piercing eyes.”

She went on to say: “I don’t know what’s going on. To be honest, Matt still has my attention. Due to my desire not to rush, making a decision is proving to be a challenge.” Millie chose Liam as her companion, while Kaz chose Tyler, and Liberty chose Jake.

Chloe went with Toby, Faye went with Teddy, Mary went with Aaron, and Priya had to choose between Matthew and Brett, which she did. As a result, Brett was able to capture Priya’s heart in a matter of hours, and Matt was sent from the island.

It was okay, Matt said to Priya as she sobbed. He said “you’ve been honest to yourself”. As for Liberty and Jake, the promo for tomorrow’s episode teases some major drama. It airs on ITV2 and may be seen on ITV Hub or BritBox the next morning.
