We have a very good news for all the anime lovers. The anime ‘The Faraway Paladin’ has officially been renewed for a season 2. The announcement was made by the main producers of the anime. The release of new seasons are always exciting and to boost the excitement, here are all the details of season 2 starting with the production details.

The Faraway Paladin Season 2
The season 2 is going to be directed by Yuu Nobuta. The screenplay of season 2 will be written by Tatsuya Takahashi with Children’s Playground Entertainment studio acting as the main producers. This is the same studio that has announced the renewal. The season 2 should have 12 episodes like season 1 and they should be around 23 minutes long each. The second season should be available to watch on different platforms across the world. In Japan, season 2 will come out on Tokyo MX, AT-X and BS NTV networks at 10pm Japan Standard Time (JST).
For the rest of the world, the season 2 will be available for streaming on the Medialink or Crunchyroll websites. As for the trailer and the release date, Children’s Playground Entertainment studio is yet to release and announce them, respectively. Things are though, pointing towards a 2022 release. The 5 main voice cast members we will reprising their roles from season 1. Meaning, we will be hearing Maki Kawase as William G. Maryblood, Katsuyuki Konishi as Blood, Yui Horie as Mary, Nobuo Tobita as Gus and Ayumu Murase as Menel once again.
Apart from them, the 7 other voice cast members are also going to reprise their roles for season 2. The new season could also see the introduction of a handful of new characters but that is mere speculation until the creators of the show say otherwise. Let’s now then focus on the plot of season 2.
The Faraway Paladin Season 2 plot
From the ending of season 1, we know that William has proven himself to be a worthy leader. Thus, in season 2, William is going to be given the governorship of Beast Wood. Also in season 2, he is going to travel to a fallen dwarven kingdom. In this kingdom, he will face his season 2 nemesis Lord of the Rust Mountains. Before this will happen though, William first is finally going to become a paladin himself in season 2.
Thus, a lot is going to happen in the season 2 and if all this happens, the current IMDb rating of 6.8 out of 10 is going to improve.
