Marvel Studios have based their releases on a fairly obscure set of heroes that many comic book fans aren’t even aware of. This shows how progressive and successful the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been. We’ll be addressing the Eternals from MCU soon, which are a race of beings who are genetically similar to humans in Marvel comics but they have heightened abilities to outlive humans.
Angelina Jolie (Thena), Kit Harrington (Dane Whitman a.k.a. The Black Knight), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Gemma Chan (Cersi), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos) will be a part of The Eternals cast.
Out of these, the most interesting character will be that of Brian Tyree Henry who will be playing the first openly gay member of the MCU. Moreover, that’s not the end of the cast. We have more wherein Don Lee would be playing Gilgamesh, Lia McHugh would be featuring as Sprite, and Barry Keoghan would be on board as Druig. In addition to that, Haaz Sleiman has also revealed that he’ll be a part of the MCU cast, playing the husband of Phastos.
