Following the release of a new Warzone update this week, weapon attachments are no longer as effective in Caldera.
Raven Software was well aware of the popularity of the akimbo double-barrel shotgun among gamers. The damage multiplier for this perk has been drastically reduced, but the damage range and hip spread have both increased as a result.
Raven stated that the Akimbo Double Barrel (VG) consistently achieved lethality at extreme ranges. In close quarters, shotguns are the most lethal option, but we must intervene when that range reaches submachine gun territory.
Raven confirmed that nerfs are being worked on for the Bren and Mp-40 in order to “close the gap between these two Weapons and their competitors,” which is a goal for the upcoming changes.
According to Raven, Vanguard assault rifles will have less “Visual Recoil.” As a result, the availability of mid- to long-range weapons is expected to increase.
