TFT Set 6 Guide: Battle Pass Missions and Rewards for Gizmos & Gadgets

Along with the newly released Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 6, there is also an abundance of exciting new content for players to engage in. The Gizmos & Gadgets expansion adds new missions and sleek rewards, as well as a free and premium track for the game’s battle pass. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s available!

The Gizmos & Gadgets battle pass is available in two types: free and premium. A Pass+ subscription costs 1295 RP, or $10 for mobile users.

Is this a prudent financial move?

There is a significant difference in the number of rewards available and the perceived quality or value of those rewards, so if you regularly play TFT and believe you will be able to complete it, the premium track is almost certainly worth it. It’s an inexpensive way to obtain approximately 30 reward items.

The free track comes with a few limited rewards, which we’ll discuss further down the page. They are, however, primarily composed of emotes, which are amusing but may not be to everyone’s liking. Meanwhile, the Pass+ contains all of the collected shards and booms.

If, on the other hand, you’re unsure about spending a lot of time with the game, at least until the middle of February, the free route may be a better option. In any case, if you determine that you will have sufficient time to devote to mission completion and levelling up, you can always upgrade to the Pass+ version later.

Missions that entail the use of TFT gadgets and gizmos

TFT Set 6’s pass includes some interesting new missions that you can complete for XP—they reward you generously, making them an excellent way to quickly level up.

Not only that, but some of them are quite simple to complete: for instance, simply playing one game earns you 500 XP (see ‘Enter the City’), and then playing two additional games earns you another 500 XP (see “A Night on the Town”).

Additionally, players can anticipate an abundance of 800 XP missions, and they are not required to complete all objectives in a single session. You will, however, be required to experiment with the various new traits (for more information, see our guide to the new origins and classes), as missions will require you to assemble teams of characters with specific characteristics such as Colossus or Mutant.

TFT Gizmos & Gadgets’ battle pass tiers and rewards

Through grinding, players can progress through a total of 35 tiers—technically, 32 levels with three bonus levels. While some are available in both versions, the majority are Pass+-only. Premium track players will also receive all 1-Star Pass+ booms and an Arcane sprite (yet another Arcane promotion!) indefinitely as long as they purchase the Pass+.
