Termination of TV shows and series in 2020

Plethora of favourite TV shows are being aired in Netflix and in other social media. Hey guys! What would be your reaction if some (probably many) of your favourite series are going to end. Follow this article keenly to know about the series which have been given a termination signal.

The Venture Bros:

The creator of “The venture Bros” Christopher McCulloh, on September 7 2020 made a tweet in his Twitter account saying it was really unhappy to receive news on the termination on “The Venture Bros” when the team was actually thinking of the 8th episode. This American adult animated TV series had its season only upto 7.

Turn up Charlie:

The British comedy series last aired in March 2019. But in this case, the series has not been told to cancel permanently rather Netflix declared the series will be meeting its huge fans with season 2.


The TV series which took its audience to 18th Century London was Harlots. This series won much appreciation and positive response. Harlots really gave people the perfect amusement and vibrance when some of the other shows were in halt. As of now the third part of Harlots is being aired on BBC but still it remains a question whether audience could expect season 4.

Drunk History:

The most loved and people’s favourite American educational comedy TV series, “Drunk History” will not have its progress of season seven, it seems.

Earlier the team had decided to have season 7 and the work was also in progress but the sudden and unfortunate arrival of covid-19 pandemic situation subdued the development of season seven.In addition to, Drunk History has been taken in seventeen Emmy nomination. In 2020 the series has given for three Emmy nomination.


Adding next series to the list is G.L.O.W an American comedy drama, dealing with the theme of Women’s Professional Wrestling. The creators of the series Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, pointed out this covid-19 pandemic situation has turned much worser, making things unpleasant. It has been a worldwide tragedy too. Both Flahive and Mensch said they would really miss those fifteen women characters. They cannot have the magical experience again.

On Becoming a God in Central Florida:

The creator has made an announcement to deadline that despite the efforts they have taken they are forced to halt the dark comedy. The pandemic made situations more unfavourable. Even though they did attempt in bringing the crew together, it went in vain.

The other TV series in the list are “Insatiable”, “V Wars”, “Reprisal”, “Astronomy Club: The Sketch Show”, “Castle Rock”, “The Purge”, “Treadstone”, “Soundtrack”, “Spinning Out”, “Messiah”, “Anne with an E” and so on.
