Tell Me Your Secrets Season 2, Is It Coming?

In the recent trend of twisty thriller-tv dramas, Amazon created three new shows in February: “Sharp Objects,” “The Undoing,” and “The Sinner.” “Tell Me Your Secrets” was a new show.

The first season of Harriet Warner’s “Tell Me Your Secrets” (“The Alienist,” “Call the Midwife”) introduced three previously unknown characters, one of whom was a woman who had to start her life in a new town only to discover that she could not escape the horrors of her previous life.

Another character was a mother who was desperate in her search for her daughter, who had been missing for years and was presumed dead. The third character was a serial predator hired to do someone else’s dirty work while attempting to avoid resurrecting his old urges.

Warner’s fascinating, complex set for the first ten episodes of “Tell Me Your Secrets” has been shown, and if the extremely positive audience ratings on Rotten Tomatoes are any indication, they will want more by the end of the season.

Release Date

We don’t know when Season 2 of “Tell Me Your Secrets” will return because it hasn’t been renewed and has no set release date. If Amazon renews Tell Me Your Secrets before 2021, the new season could begin in early 2023.

The buffer is ready for a streaming release due to the time it takes to cast, write, film, and edit the entire new season. Planning to release “Tell Me Your Secrets” at the start of 2023 would also benefit, as the Season 2 release date would be the same as the Season 1 release date in February.

Naturally, this is subject to change depending on production delays and whether or not Amazon renews this show for a second season.

Casting

One thing is certain: all three of Season 1’s “Tell Me Your Secrets” leads will return in Stage 2. Despite the changes in the life or death of Season 1, the character played by Lily Rabe, Amy Brenneman, and Hamish Linklater at the end of “Share Me Your Secrets” is still alive, implying that Season 2 focuses on the ongoing adventures of each of these major characters.

Emma Hall (Rabe) is introduced in season 1 as a young woman who has been released from prison and placed under the protection of witnesses as she attempts to find her place in the world. Emma was imprisoned for a time after her boyfriend, Kit Parker (Xavier Samuel), a charming serial killer, was arrested.
