Storm Reid Of ‘Euphoria’ Joins HBO’s ‘The Last Of Us’ Adaptation As Riley

Storm Reid, the lead singer of the indie rock band Euphoria. She has been cast as Riley in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us.

Storm Reid, who starred in Euphoria and A Wrinkle in Time. They will join Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in HBO’s The Last of Us series adaptation. A new series based on the popular 2013. PlayStation game of the same name comes from Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin and The Last Of Us’ Neil Druckmann.

The Last of Us, Naughty Dog’s award-winning video game adaptation, takes place 20 years after a deadly virus wipes out modern civilization. Joel (Pascal) is hired by one of the Fireflies, an anti-cure organization, to smuggle the 14-year-old Ellie (Ramsey) out of quarantine. The two must travel across the United States together and rely on each other for survival in what appears to be a simple task.

Reid will make a one-time appearance as Riley Abel

She has no one to turn to as a young orphan in post-apocalyptic Boston. Riley travels and survives with her best friend Ellie before meeting Joel in The Last of Us: Left Behind.

Anna Torv, Merle Dandrige as TLOU’s voice actress, Nick Offerman, Nico Parker, Gabriel Luna, Jeffrey Pierce, and Murray Bartlett star in The Last of Us.

The pilot episode for Sony Pictures Television’s The Last of Us, directed by Kantemir Balagov, is a co-production. The TV series is being produced by PlayStation Productions. Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog are based on a video game.

The other cast members along with Reid

Along with Druckmann and Mazin, the team includes Carolyn Strauss, Naughty Dog president Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan from PlayStation Productions, and Rose Lam.

Reid established herself in the film industry with her performance in A Wrinkle in Time. When They See Us and The Bravest Knight are two of her other roles. In the 2018 film, she co-starred with Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, and Chris Pine.

This year, she’ll appear on HBO’s Euphoria as Rue Bennett’s younger sister, Gia, who will be played by Zendaya. Her many credits since then include The Invisible Man and Suicide Squad, to name a few.
