The Vivo Y76 5G will go on sale in Malaysia on November 23. The new Vivo Y-series smartphone model number V2124 has appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench just one day before its official release date. A few critical things are hinted at in the listing.

 According to the listing, the Vivo Y76 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core CPU. The camera specifications and design of the Vivo Y76 5G have been made public by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer.

Geekbench has identified the model number V2124 for the Vivo Y76 5G. The smartphone achieved 565 points in single-core testing and 1,748 points in multi-core testing. Geekbench reports that the Vivo Y76 5G can run Android 11 with FunTouch OS on top.

 It could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 octa-core processor. The Vivo Y76 5G is rumoured to come equipped with 8GB of RAM. The product page indicates a clock speed of 2.20GHz.

Vivo has announced that the Vivo Y76 5G will be available in Malaysia on November 23rd 

The virtual launch event will commence at 8:30 p.m. MYT (5:30pm IST). The event will be streamed live on the company’s social media platforms. In the Philippines, Lazada and Shopee are expected to sell the Y76 5G. The Vivo Y76 5G’s availability outside of China, including India, has not been disclosed.

The business promised a waterdrop-style notch for the Vivo Y76 5G. For the first time, Vivo has showcased a black variant of its next phone. 

The Vivo 5G is expected to include triple rear-facing cameras enclosed in a rectangular module with a flash. Two cameras with a resolution of two megapixels each, one for portraiture and one for macros, will be included.

The Vivo Y74s was introduced in secret in China. Vivo of China launched a phone that is identical to the Vivo Y76s earlier this month. The phone features two rear-facing cameras and a notch in the style of a waterdrop. 

Additionally, the Vivo Y74s features the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. Additionally, the phone comes in two separate colour variants. 

The Vivo Y74s will be available in Malaysia till Tuesday, November 23, just ahead of the Vivo Y65 5G. Vivo’s new handsets are expected to look fairly similar to their predecessors, but will offer innovative features such as triple rear cameras to set them apart from their predecessors.

The Vivo Y74 variant is available and costs CNY 2,299 for the single 8GB + 256GB onboard storage option (approximately Rs. 26,800). 

The Galaxy Blue and Starry Night Black variants of the phone are presently available on the Vivo China website. This item is not yet available in this country. The Vivo Y74s’ global availability and price are yet to be confirmed.

CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 21,000) is the starting price in China for the Vivo Y76s 8GB + 128GB storage variant. For CNY 1,999, the phone is also available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. (about Rs. 23,300).
