SONY PLAYSTATION 5 DIGITAL EDITION INDIA RELEASE IS DELAYED

We have bad news for all the gaming lovers out there. The new Sony PlayStation which was expected to launch on February 2nd, 2021, might not have the digital variant. There were two variants of the phone which have been launched by the company, the disk variant and the digital one.

Only the disk version will go live for sale from 12th January, there won’t be the digital version available. It will be really bad news for the gaming lovers because most of the people prefer downloading games online and then playing rather than bringing the optical disks. There are some other accessories such as an HD camera, the Dual Sense charging Station, and the PS headset, which are also not going to launch soon in India.

The news about the release came from a twitter account which has been keeping a long track about the PlayStation 5.

The PS5 was launched a few months ago and people, mostly gamers, really loved the design, specifications, and the features of the new console. People have already started trying their hands on the PS5 since November last year as the console came early in the western countries.

The company was asked about why they are launching the disk version only and not the digital version, to which they said that only the disk version will release for this time and some of the accessories are also not going to launch. The company did not have any specific reason for not releasing the other stuff.

Out of the two consoles, the disk one is a little bit thicker and the digital one is thinner as the digital one does not require a dedicated disk slot. The disk variant of the game is priced at 49990 INR while the digital version will be sold only for 39900 in the country. The console will be sold at different online shopping portals and at retail shops.

I would prefer the digital version rather than the disk one. What about you, which one do you prefer?
