REVIEW

Coming right to the point, you should stream it. And we are saying this by just seeing the very first episode of the show. The show’s main star performer is Bridget Everett who plays the part of Sam. In the show, she is a middle-aged women with a good signing voice. Yet she is a misfit in her home town of Kansas, where she goes back after a big setback. The show, in just one episode wins the heart over. Everett as Sam is flawless. The way she acts seems like as if she is not acting at all. It seems like she is really only Sam and not a famous actress in reality.

The show’s directors are also to be praised. Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen have done a remarkable job. They have made a really simple story but they have made it with all their heart. They have directed the first episode with passion and this passion to create a good show is visible in the remaining five episodes. The rest of the co-actors have also excelled with their acting. They have responded brilliantly to the passion showed by the two directors. The comedy potential of the show is also really good.
