The launch of the game Sifu by the game developers Sloclap has not been a smooth one. Its first players have reported that they are facing a problem. What is the problem and what is its solution. Find out both these things ahead.
The Problem
The game by Sloclap launched on the 6th of February 2022 at 7am ET. While all the new players who had pre-ordered the game’s disc where able to play the game without any trouble, those who had brought the digital version of the game on their PS4 or PS5 faced trouble downloading the game. The problem with the download happened due to a fault in the digital PlayStation Store timer for the game. As reported by a few players who had brought the digital copy, the timer was still going on at 7am ET and it was set to hit zero a few days later. As a result of this, the download remains blocked still date.
The Solution
Initially Sloclap had said that players can solve the issue by restarting their PS4 or PS5 and then relaunching the game to download it. If any player still had the issue they suggest to restore the licenses of the game from the settings. These two fixes did not work and thus now Sloclap is asking players who face the issue to forward them their PlayStation Network ID.
They have also asked the players to give them the details the region they live in along with the detail of the console they are using which is it PS4 or PS5. Sloclap is going to further forward all this info to the dedicated PlayStation engineers who are looking into the whole matter.
