The 5th movie of the Scream movie series is finally going to make its online and digital release in the month of March and April. So, the Scream 5 movie has been directed by two people. They are Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The screenplay of the movie has been written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Till the 4th movie of the franchise, The Weinstein Company was the main producer of the movies.
But then in 2017 the company was closed and the movie rights for the whole franchisee were taken up by Spyglass Media Group and now they are responsible for the 5th movie. Along with them, the latest movie is also being produced by Project X Entertainment and Radio Silence Productions. Paramount Pictures are the distributors for this movie. The movie which has been made on a budget of $24 million released in the theatres of USA on 14th January 2022.

About the plot
This movie will open after 25 years after the events of the 4th movie. A schoolgirl is attacked by a ghost named Ghostface. The only relative the girl has is her elder sister who is living in another town.
When she gets to that her sister is injured and is in hospital she visits the hospital with her boyfriend. While at the hospital the elder sister meets the friends’ group of the girl that was attacked. Soon Ghostface starts to attack them and the battle for survival starts. To defeat Ghostface everyone goes to meet with a certain Dewey.
After a lot of the characters in the movie are killed, Ghostface is finally defeated by the girl who was originally attacked during the start of the movie.
With the digital and online release done, soon the movie is said to also release on a streaming service most probably on the Paramount Plus.
