Michael Schumacher is the subject of the film. The former German Formula One racing driver has seven World Drivers’ Championship titles under his belt and is well-known in his own country. So even if you’re not from Germany, if you’re into racing, you’d recognize him. Simply said, he was excellent!

A documentary on his life and career as a professional racing driver has long been requested by his adoring supporters since he announced his retirement from the sport in 2012. Of course, Netflix, ever the giving, has listened to the wishes of some of its members and will soon be streaming a documentary on Schumacher. Schumacher will be available to stream on Netflix on the 15th of September, 2021. So be ready to hear tales of the second-most decorated F1 driver and witness his early life and what led him to be a seven-time champion.

On Sept. 15, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time and 3:01 a.m. Eastern Time, Netflix will release the documentary. With a running time of 1 hour and 52 minutes, we’re confident that you can watch Schumacher and get some rest before heading to work.

According to a Deadline story from July, Schumacher would contain interviews with members of Michael Schumacher’s family, including his wife Corinna Schumacher, his father Rolf, his brother Ralf, and his two daughters Gina-Maria and Mick.

A number of well-known Formula One racers will make cameo appearances in the upcoming Netflix film, including Jean Todt, Bernie Ecclestone, Sebastian Vettel, Mika Häkkinen, Damon Hill, Flavio Briatore, and David Coulthard.
