Report – An Online Fundraiser Which Was Set Up For A Family Of Wilmar Man Got Killed Last Week By Stray Gunshot

Willmar’s 41-year-old David Delfosse died Friday after being shot through his garage wall. Delfosse leaves behind Karla, his wife, and their children, 17-year-old Kaitlin, and 6-year-old Camden.

For the family of a Willmar man who died on 15th January after being shot through the wall of his garage in Willmar, a Go Fund Me platform was set up. 

David Delfosse, 41, died while operating on a remodeling job at Carris-Rice Memorial Hospital after recovering from a gunshot wound.

Delfosse leaves behind his wife, Karla, and their two children, Kaitlin, 17, and Camden, 6, as per the website. 

According to the website, the donations will be used to assist with funeral expenses. 

A part of the page reads, “The family is understandably shocked by this awful loss and is in need of our help.” “David’s going to be remembered as a hard-working, fun-loving, awesome dad.”

As of Friday morning, more than 60 individuals had contributed more than $4,500 in total.
