Season 6 of “The Magicians”. Who all are featuring?

The Magicians first spelled us in December 2015, and we are now under their spell.

However, Syfy decided to cancel the series after five seasons in April 2020, much to the dismay of die-hard fans.

“It’s played almost the same way it’s played almost every season,” co-creator John McNamara told TVInsider.

“With the exception of seasons 4 and 5, we never knew if we’d be picked up.” It’s always been a debate about money, never about creativity, and you know there’s always a fine line between what a show does and how much it costs.

Sera Gamble, one of the show’s co-creators, stated: “And as the show’s creators, we understand. This season, we felt Syfy had reached a tipping point, particularly as our first platform: ‘The cup is full and no longer has space.’”

“Revenues will not necessarily grow, nor will they necessarily contract,” McNamara added, “but they will cost more.”

While its time on Syfy has come to an end, if there is enough interest, it will not appear on another network or streaming platform in the future (and there are no contractual issues).

Release Date

It Which Shall Not Be Named already throws a wrench in the works for television and movies all over the world, but because The Wizards were canceled (for the time being – people – positivity!) it wasn’t foreseen.

Plot

Following the death of Jason Ralph’s protagonist in season four, the show has been forced to foray into uncharted territory.

Sera Gamble, the show’s executive producer, spoke about the impact of his death on the show’s future: “The Magicians hasn’t finished telling Quentin’s story. It is that Jason Ralph is no longer a series regular on the show, and Quentin Coldwater is no longer alive on the show, and the story moving forward is about the fallout… Jason has left the show, and Quentin is no longer alive, and much of season five is about what happens next, just as when someone dies in our lives, the next season is about what happens.”
