The Poco X4 Pro was just revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in 2022. Last year, AndroidHeadlines gave the much-loved Poco X3 Pro the prestigious “Editor’s Choice” rating after reviewing it. In anticipation of its arrival at MWC 2022, Xiaomi/Poco delivered the new Poco X4 Pro. This gadget has been used in conjunction with a few other Xiaomi and Poco devices.

To summarise, the Poco X4 Pro is essentially the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with a couple of small tweaks. Continue reading to learn about the changes in this new version!!

Outlook of Poco X4 Pro

A yellow package with a black lid, a yellow insert, and a black smartphone- a classic Poco. So far, everything appears to be typical Poco. A thicker TPU transparent case, a SIM tool, and papers are all included with the insert. A USB-C cable and a 67W fast charging power brick are included as charging accessories. Yes, there is still a factory-applied film screen protector on the phone.

The network technology is GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G. The launch was announced on the 28th of February 2022 and the expected release is March 2022. The body structure of Poco X4 Pro includes dimensions of 164.2 x 76.1 x 8.1 mm, hybrid dual SIM IP53 with dust and splash protection, and weight 250g. It has features for sensors which include Fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity, gyro and compass.

  • Squarish modern design with a one-of-a-kind rear cover.
  • Hand ergonomics are excellent.
  • The Snapdragon 695 gives an exceptional performance, especially for gaming, with its bright, vivid 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display.
  • 5000 mAh battery capacity with 67W Fast Charging
  • The performance of the main camera is outstanding.
  • Dual stereo speakers with an IR blaster and headphone port, 5G connection, NFC, and IP53 splash resistance.
  • The price-to-performance ratio is excellent.

  • The unique back cover attracts fingerprints.
  • Apart from the main camera, the results are mixed. There is no 4K video recording capacity.
  • Android 11 is still running on MIUI 13.
  • It takes some time to get rid of bloatware and ad popups.

In 2021, the Poco X3 Pro was a breeze to recommend. While the newer Poco X4 Pro features a superior hardware design language, a fantastic AMOLED high refresh rate display, and a 5G connection, it also comes with a $100 price increase.

The latest version, arguably, has a better battery life, supports ultra-fast 67W charging, excellent stereo speakers, a headphone connection, a plethora of networking options, and a significant upgrade to the main rear camera.

So the Poco X4 Pro this year makes some interesting trade-offs – not every improvement is a clear upgrade. If you can get one during the early bird pricing, it’s an excellent deal to say. However, once the launch window has passed, take a closer look at the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, which is essentially the same phone with additional RAM and a fingerprint-resistant rear for a similar price.

There are changes in this newly launched phone and many are awaiting its release. Why don’t you tell us your opinions on your experience and excitement for this new phone?
