As the year 2022 begins, a new series about friendship, death, the midlife crisis, and dealing with the consequences of rash decisions will premiere on television and streaming platforms this weekend. It all comes down to changing your perspective.

The death of a woman from a group of friends kicks off this FOX comedy series ‘Pivoting ‘. It is unavoidable that their lives will grind to a halt as they consider what is required to be fulfilled. Prompting them to make significant changes.

Under the premise that life is short, these three friends, each in their own way. They decide to make big decisions that mean radical changes in their present and future. But they always support each other.

Release Date for ‘Pivoting’

Pivoting will premiere on FOX on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. ET, following Call Me Kat and before Bob’s Burger. If She Could See Us Now is the title of the first episode.


The show isn’t just about a group of childhood friends sharing their day-to-day exploits, as Fox’s official summary explains.

“Pivoting” is a one-camera sitcom that deals with the ups and downs of everyday life. A group of three women – all childhood friends – deal with the death of the fourth member of their group in a small, middle-class town on Long Island, New York.

When confronted with the reality that life is short and must be lived to the fullest. They make rash, self-indulgent decisions. They will be able to demonstrate that it is never too late to mess up your life. In the pursuit of happiness as a result of these pivots.”

Pivoting’s cast has a strong comedic background

Jodie is played by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Sarah is played by Maggie Q. Amy is played by Eliza Coupe, and the rest of the cast includes veteran comics such as Eliza Coupe, Eliza Coupe, and Maggie Q.

Ginnifer Goodwin is best known for her work on Once Upon a Time and Zootopia, in addition to Scrubs and the romantic comedies Something Borrowed and He’s Just Not That Into You. Coupe, on the other hand, is best known for her work on the television show Scrubs (Designated Survivor, Nikita).

The cast also includes the three leads, Olivia DeLaurentis, Francesca Corzo, Fizaa Dosani, Michael Canetty, Tommy Dewey, JT Neal, and Audrey Gerthoffer.
