Pitch Perfect TV Show Casting Members, Storyline and Release Date

Pitch Perfect’s world has grown beyond the three films produced in the 2010s to include a brand new Television show that will debut as an original series on Peacock. The 2012 film Pitch Perfect is set in the world of collegiate a cappella, with the Barden Bellas attempting to form a team and win a national singing competition. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Skylar Astin, Ben Platt, Adam Devine, Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks, John Michael Higgins, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee, and Alexis Knapp appeared in the original film. In 2015 and 2017, two sequels were released.

Due to the fact that the films were produced by Universal Pictures, the IP is a logical fit for Peacock, which is owned by NBCUniversal. Girls5eva, Rutherford Falls, Saved by the Bell, The Amber Ruffin Show, Bel-Air, and Field of Dreams are among the Peacock original programs already on the service or in production.

Release Date and Casting Members

There is no word on when the Pitch Perfect TV program will air on Peacock. While you wait for the TV program, you can watch all of the Pitch Perfect movies online. As of now, Adam Devine is the sole confirmed cast member for the program. Other Pitch Perfect cast members, such as Rebel Wilson, or, given the show’s setting in Germany, members of Pitch Perfect 2’s Das Sound Machine, such as Birgitte Hjort Srensen or Flula Borg, might appear at some time in the series.

We’ll keep you updated when fresh casting information for the program becomes available. Megan Amram has been hired as executive producer and showrunner for the Pitch Perfect TV program. Previous credits for Amram include The Good Place and Parks & Recreation.

The first film’s producers, including Elizabeth Banks, Max Handleman, Paul Brooks, and Scott Neimeyer, will return to this extension of the Pitch Perfect series as executive producers. Banks not only produced and starred in the movie, but he also directed the two sequels. There was no news on whether or not she will direct any episodes of the Peacock original series.

While the Pitch Perfect TV Program is still in the early stages of development (i.e., we don’t know if it will be called Pitch Perfect or if it will be given a new title), we do know the idea of the show.

The series will center on Adam Devine’s character Bumper Allen from Pitch Perfect. The bumper was originally the pompous leader of the Bellas’ biggest enemies, the Treblemakers, but in the sequels, he became a love interest for Rebel Wilson’s Fat Amy.

In the program, some years have passed after the events of the movie, and one of Bumper’s songs becomes a major hit in Berlin, prompting him to go to Germany in order to resurrect his music career.
