PLOT AND CAST

The movie is expected to depict the story of the novel as it is. The plot of the novel goes like this that there are two friends who are of mix-African origins.

Furthermore, their skin color is such that the two can pass as white people if they want to which is a big advantage in the world of 1920’s America.

The twist in the plot is that while one friend decides to live as who she is, the other takes advantage of her fair skin and starts living like a white woman.

Also, just like in the novel, the movie analyses this move of the other friend and shows what implications this type of decision can bring.

The role of the two friends will be played by Ruth Negga and Tessa Thompson.

Moreover, the movie promises to tell a tale like no other.

And if you are fonder of watching than reading, then this is your chance to complete a good novel.
