Netflix Is Producing A Professional Tennis Series, With Production Beginning At The Australian Open

Netflix in association with Box to Box Films is set to launch a tennis documentary Documentaries following men’s and women’s professional tennis players on the ATP and WTA Tours.

Fans will be able to experience a year in the life of some of the world’s best tennis players. As they travel the globe in search of victory on the sport’s biggest stages for the first time.

Netflix has collaborated with the four Grand Slam tournaments, as well as the ATP Tour. WTA Tour, and ATP Media, to bring this unique immersive documentary series to the screen. Beginning with the Australian Open in 2022.

The series will provide an unfiltered look inside the competitive sport of professional tennis through the eyes of the players and their teams. Similar to Formula 1: Drive to Survive and the recently announced project featuring golf’s PGA Tour.

The series will also be the first of its kind to provide an equal platform to the sport’s competitors. Mirroring the equal stage they share throughout the year. Thanks to a historic collaboration that will take cameras behind the scenes of the two tours. The Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
