Master of None season 3 release date cast, and more – What we know so far

Master of None fans has been waiting for almost four years for season 3 to drop on Netflix. So is there hope for the series to return? A while back, that is in 2017, Aziz Ansari shared with the fans that he has no plans to jump into a new season. He is currently focusing on his life, wants to get in a serious relationship, have a child, and then figure out the new season.

Now, it seems like Aziz is ready for a new season, and the filming of the show is in the works. However, the streaming platform has not given the official confirmation, so here is what we know so far about the third season of Master of None.

Master of None season 3 Premiere date: When can fans expect the series to release on Netflix?

Master of None season 3 will be shot and set in London. However, the production of the new episodes is not officially announced yet, so we have no clue when the new season would release. Furthermore, various parts of the countries are still under strict lockdown, and as we know that the series is heavily based on public settings, it won’t be easy for Master of None season 3 to get filmed in restaurants and bars.

Even if it starts its production, the creators will have to shoot under safety restrictions. And currently, we have seen a rise in the coronavirus cases in London, so we don’t think the series will get filmed soon. Gradually, it will delay the premiere of Master of None season 3. If it does get filmed, then the new season will drop on Netflix in early 2022.

Master of None season 3 cast: Who will be in it?

Of course, Aziz Ansari will reprise his role as Dev, Lena Waithe will return to play as Dev’s friend Denise and Eric Wareheim and Kelvin Yu, who plays Dev’s friends Arnold, and Brian will be back as well. Aside from this, BAFTA-winning actress Naomi Ackie will be joining the cast in season 3. We haven’t heard a word from the creators whether any new actors will be joining the cast.

We also don’t know if Noël Wells and Alessandra Mastronardi, who were the girlfriends of Dev in season 1 and season 2, will be back or not. We will have to wait for the official confirmation from Netflix and the creators of the show. So only then, we can be sure of the cast of Master of None season 3.
