Love Island latest recoupling – did Liam’s big gesture pay off?

Tonight (August 3), Love Island broadcast its latest recoupling, in which the girls choose which males they wanted to be with. What remained to be seen was whether Millie would choose Liam again in the near future.

As a result of learning about his relationship with Lillie at Casa Amor, she witnessed him make an impressive effort tonight to win her back. Liam informed the group that Millie was his “possible soulmate and more” and that no one had ever made him feel like way.

Then he used the expression ‘Millie-on years’. Millie thanked Liam for the gesture, but she didn’t express her gratitude, saying just that she was grateful “I’m upset with myself for thinking it was adorable in the first place. This is a step in the right direction, even if it doesn’t make me leap back into his arms. Still, it’s not nearly enough.” All of this was followed by the group recoupling.

While Liberty choose to remain with Jake, Kaz opted to stick with him a second time around. Clarisse was next, and she chose Tyler once again. Then, Faye selected Teddy, and Amy chose Hugo again.

Millie was the next to speak, and she admitted that Liam had influenced her. She claimed he still had work to do to regain her trust, despite their recoupling. In recent months, Chloe has been having a thing with both Dale and Toby, and she ultimately chose Toby.

Only Abbie, the only single female, chose Dale, leaving Mary frustrated that she was unable to choose Toby. Her options were limited, so she went with Sam. As soon as the couples have been chosen, you’ll be able to vote for your favorite couple via the app, with the least popular ones at risk of being eliminated from the competition. As well as being accessible for viewing on ITV Hub and BritBox, Love Island also airs on ITV2.
