Look at the actors from new Apple film, including Marvel and James Bond

Swan Song, an Apple Original Film, will be released on December 17th. Here’s a first look at the film, courtesy of Apple Original Films. Mahershala Ali, who won an Oscar for his work in The Hunger Games, Moonlight, Hidden Figures, and Luke Cage, will star in the film, as will Glenn Close, Shang-Awkwafina, Chi and Adam Beach.

Swan Song takes place in the near future and is narrated through Cameron’s (Mahershala Ali) point of view, a husband and father who has recently been diagnosed with a fatal illness. He has the choice to save his family the pain of loss, but doing so would change the course of his family’s history forever.

As he strives to come to a decision, he learns more about himself and the world around him than he ever imagined. When it comes to creating a happy life for the ones you love, “Swan Song investigates how far we will go and how much we are prepared to give.”

Glenn Close and Awkafina have previously collaborated on films such as Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons, and the impending sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, Damages. Naomie Harris, who played Eve Moneypenny in the next James Bond film No Time To Die, will also be appearing in Swan Song as a guest star. The award-winning director Benjamin Cleary created the script, which Anonymous Content and Concordia Studio will adapt for the big screen. Ali will produce the film as well as act in it.

Swan Song will be the next in Apple’s slate of original movies, which also includes Coda, Finch, Emancipation, Killers of the Flower Moon, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Sharper, and The Sky is Everywhere. All of these films can be seen exclusively on AppleTV+, which costs £4.99 a month with a seven-day free trial.
