This is what Loki is doing, if any Marvel Disney Plus show were to be renovated, it would be this. And, thanks to a quick title card at the end of episode six, we now know for certain that Loki will return for season two.

Before Disney confirmed it, Marvel producer Nate Moore told that the second season of Loki was almost certain:

“I believe there’s a lot of storytelling in Loki that’s irreverent, smart, and cool, but it’s suited to many seasons, not just one.” It comes to mind – which is probably not surprising.

Clark Gregg, one of SHIELD’s star agents, suggested in May that Tom Hiddleston could be working on 10 or 12 episodes, and that more than six chapters would take place in season one.

“I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t exciting to restart the experiment,” Clark said. ‘With that kind of budget and this Marvel Cinematic production team, I’d like to make 10 or 12 episodes like Tom Hiddleston says he’s doing on Loki.’

What exactly did Tom say was the truth?

The God of Mischief is joking, but we know he always told Clark the truth and, given Marvel’s previous achievements in Loki, the official renewal was only a matter of time before it arrived in the bifrost.

Release Date

According to a recent report, the second Loki season will begin production in January 2022. If that’s the case, season two could arrive by the end of next year, though Disney has yet to confirm anything.

And, now that Marvel has confirmed the existence of Season Two, production could begin even sooner. If this happens, we could be looking at a summer 2022 release date. We’re hoping for the best, but we’re crossing our fingers!

Given how the first season ended, the majority of the cast members are expected to return in Loki: Battle Angel’s second season.

  • Tom Hiddleston in the role of Loki
  • Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ravonna Renslayer
  • Mosaku Wunmi in the role of Hunter B-15
  • Tara Strong, Miss Minutes’ voice
  • Mobius Wilson, Owen
  • Sylvie’s role in Sophia Di Martino’s life

Do not be surprised if Jack Veal takes over his role as Kid Loki at some point in the second season of Loki or in a young avenger project. It’s only a matter of time before the legacy team arrives, and we’re hoping that Kid Loki, just like in the comics, will be a part of it.
