Kit Harington, star of Game of Thrones, talks up about his past in alcohol or drugs addiction

Kit Harington’s portrayal of Jon Snow in HBO’s famous series Game Of Thrones wowed the viewers. Following the premiere of the program, Harington gained international acclaim. The actor spoke candidly about his battle with addiction and how he felt suicidal during that time in an interview.

According to Kit Harington, “things that have happened to me since Game of Thrones finished, and things that were happening during Thrones, have been of a fairly painful type and have included drinking.” He acknowledged that there is a point at which one feels “horrendous” or “shameful” and that there is “no way out.”

Harington and Leslie had a newborn son last year. Harington met his future wife Rose Leslie on the set of Game of Thrones, who played the fierce wildling Ygritte to Jon Snow’s honorable warrior. According to Jess Cagle of SiriusXM, the actor and his wife are adapting well to parenthood. Despite the difficulties, the actor and his wife Rose claimed the journey had brought them closer together.

Kit Harington appearing in ‘Eternals’

With the superhero film Eternals, Kit Harington will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. The film follows the events of Avengers: Endgame and tells the story of the Eternals, an immortal extraterrestrial species established by the Celestials who have covertly resided on Earth for over 7,000 years and have reunited to safeguard mankind from the Deviants.

Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, and Richard Madden are among the cast members. The film is being directed by Chloé Zhao, an Academy Award-winning director. On November 5, 2021, Eternals will be published in the United States, as part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
