John Wick 3 is the third part of the famous and legendary movie series “John Wick” starring the Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeve. John Wick movies are basically action thriller movies directed by one of the finest in the business Chad Sthaleski and story written by Derek Colstad, Shay Hatten, Chris Dollins and Marc Abrams. Along with Keanu Reeves , Halle , Laurence , Asia Kate, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane also features as his co- stars and doing a fantastic job for making this movie a special one as the previous two.
According to the film’s title, “Si vis pacem, para bellum,” which means, „If you want peace, prepare for war” was taken from the famous Roman military quota of the 4th century. McShane said, in an interview with The New York Times, that it’s big and good and that there’s nothing the same as the high table payback not only Wick but his close friend Winston could be part of the action.
The third instalment of the John Wick series picks up where the previous film left off, with a wounded Wick (Reeves) on the run.
Wick has gone from hunter to hunted, and the High Table (a consortium of assassins bound by a strict model code of conduct) is furious with him for his transgressions at the Continental, the assassin world’s designated safe space.
The Adjudicator (Dillon), a ruthless High Table bureaucrat, punishes Wick’s supporters Winston (McShane) and Bowery King (Fishburne). With a $14 million bounty on his head, Wick is determined to survive and has no mercy on those who dare to challenge him. He seeks out old allies and re-connects with The Director (Huston) and Sofia (Berry) and her two canines. This third instalment in the saga, directed once again by Chad Stahelski, continues to peel back the layers on the protagonist and expands the world introduced in the first film. The plot of the thriller is simple. The stunning visuals and flawlessly choreographed action sequences more than compensate for the lack of depth. Reeves, as always, is a delight to watch. The franchise is tailored to him and his acting abilities. And, while the other actors each do their own thing, the film is all about Reeves.
Dacascos as Zero, a wry-humoured sushi chef/killer, steals the show and lightens the tense atmosphere. Whereas Dillon is threatened as a trustee, Berry’s franchise is strong — and beautiful.
Parabellum takes you on an action-packed ride when you finish yet another cliffhanger.

What it is, is the John Wick series. It’s a good beer and flick of popcorn, fundamentally. It’s not going to be deeper than it really is. However, at the same time, the expanding world construction of this series was exceptional without getting too ‘film-geeky.’ When you see where the series began and where it is, all manner of possibilities are opened for future spin-offs with different characters.
John has so many friends so why are they still reluctant to help him ??
Based on the High table, anyone who raises a finger to advance his cause will take violent vengeance. Even Laurence Fishburne – Morpheus to Reeves’ Neo – could not use his power for helping the King of the Bowery. When Wick goes back to New York and tries to clear his name, his main action started. The adjudicator has no one to bring Wick to pieces with the help of two deputy heads, a chef named Zero (Mark Dacascos, superb at waving insolence) (Cecep Arif Rahman and Yayan Ruhian). Wick from Grand Central Station (watch out kid!) to the Continental glass office, are the weapons of choice for fist, knives, arms, and anything handy. Reeves and Stahelski pull all of them out when you think you saw it, all of them. Yeah, the end is an awful cliffhanger. It’s not important. In Parabellum the wow factor is not included.
So the question remains is this worth watching ??
HELL YES, the obvious answer! It checks all boxes, while not insulting your intelligence in a fun summer action film. Are there any top scenes? Certainly. I’m even going to say some of the scenes went too much, and sometimes were a bit too “incredible.” This is a world of excentric killers at the end of the day, so you have to check out some things at the door. But I can assure you that if you pass it, you’ll be entertained thoroughly
