Home and Away teases Jasmine and Cash’s first date

As reported by Home and Away, Jasmine Delaney and Cash Newman’s first date ends in injury. Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) and Jasmine (Sam Frost) have been flirting since Cash’s arrival in the Bay earlier this year. But Jasmine’s troubled past with the police has left her wary of moving further with Cash.

TV Week claims that Cash will eventually persuade Jasmine to go on a date with him, despite her misgivings about his profession, in the next episodes. Nurse Jasmine can’t help but feel sorry for Cash when he appears to have injured himself during the game.

In a recent soap preview, Jasmine called Cash “officially my hero”, hinting at the possibility of further romance between them – but will she be able to get beyond her concerns about Cash’s career?

Nicholas recently stated that Cash is “following in his foster father’s footsteps by pursuing a career in law enforcement”, but that Cash is more than simply a cop. As a “working-class man with a sensitive spirit”, Cash has a strong moral compass and a commitment to his community, which he values more than simply obeying the text of the law, he added.

This week, Channel 7 in Australia and Channel 5 in the UK will air Cash’s first date with Jasmine. There are two different timeslots for the show in the United Kingdom: 1.15 pm and 6.30 pm on Channel 5, and 7.30 pm on Channel 7. (Australia). Select classic episodes are available to Amazon Prime Video members in the UK.

Originally titled Refuge, the soap opera’s name was changed to Home and Away once filming began. As a pilot episode, the show ran for 90 minutes (subsequently in re-runs and on VHS known as Home and Away: The Movie). Since then, each episode has shown for twenty-two minutes each time it airs. “Home and Away” is now Australia’s second-longest-running drama series. Mondays through Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.

A fictional seaside town in New South Wales, Summer Bay, is the location for the television series Home and Away.
