Gigi Hadid will be the narrator of Netflix Originals “Never Have I Ever”

Never Have I Ever season 2 was released last month, and Netflix has some good news for fans of the comedy series following the release of the second season.

Yes, Devi Vishwakumar and the rest of the cast will be back for a third season of the show, which has been renewed for another season.

According to the series’ producers, Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling, “We are really thankful to Netflix and Universal Television for allowing us to continue to tell this story, and we are grateful to our fans all around the world who clamoured to see more of this terribly behaved Indian girl.”

It is based on Kaling’s upbringing in Boston and follows Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an Indian American adolescent who decides to improve her social standing as she spends her new year in a wheelchair due to the untimely death of her father (Sendhil Ramamurthy).

Following Chris Teigen’s recent internet scandal, Gigi Hadid, who will serve as the new narrator in the second season, has replaced Paxton’s narrator with Darren Barnet.

According to a previous Netflix representative, ‘Christina Teigen chose for a previously agreed guest vocal role in an episode of the next second season of Never Have I Ever. The position is likely to be filled.”

“Never Have I Ever” is currently available for streaming on Netflix.

As part of her work on Never Have I Ever, Kaling has been announced to be creating a new Muslim rom-com for Amazon Studios, which will be based on Uzma Jalaluddin’s novel Hana Khan Carries On.

The premise of the film is expected to put a modern Muslim spin on classic films such as The Shop Around the Corner and You’ve Got Mail, since it centres on two competing Halal restaurants and a star-crossed romantic relationship.

According to the sources, it will be written by Sahar Jahani, with Kaling and Jessica Kumai Scott producing under Kaling International, the production business founded by Kaling.
