On October 10, 2011, Chiba TV and TV Saitama broadcast the anime series, which aired until April 16, 2012. It aired in the United States on Funimation and in the United Kingdom on Kaze UK. About the show
Sakae Esuno, popularly known as Sakae, is a manga series created by Mirai Nikki. The story follows 12 characters as they compete in a royal diary tournament and are given future diaries. These futuristic diaries are one-of-a-kind and can predict the future. The only kast survivor is the Deus Ex Machina, the God of Space and Time.
Characters include Yuki Amano, Yuno Gasal, Minene Uryu, and Aru Akise. Yuki Amano was an antisocial adolescent whose sole purpose in life was to survive. Yuno Gasal, Yuki’s dearest friend is the other competitor, and she will go to any length for her. Minene Uryu was another member who worked as a spy and despised the Almighty. Aru Akise was the detective tasked with uncovering Yuno’s dark secrets as well as the game’s true objective.
Is the second season cancelled?
Many fans were devastated to hear of the Mirai Nikki Season 2 cancellation. However, it’s important to note, that the sequel is neither cancelled or renewed by Studio Asread or any other company involved in the anime’s creation. Despite the huge demand, the anime’s chances of being revived are slim. Due to the completion of the plot, there will be no sequel.
Many fans of Future Diary aren’t aware that the anime’s story is already finished. Many individuals assume that more seasons are needed because they haven’t seen the OVA episode. The first chapter ended on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience eager for the next instalment. In June 2013, however, the firm released an OVA episode. The cliffhanger from the Season 1 finale was resolved in this episode, and the entire plot was wrapped up.
As a result, Future Diary Season 2 does not need to be renewed because the anime’s story is now complete. However, if enough fans ask for a second season, the studio may consider making one.
Any expected release date
There were rumors about the cancellation of the sequel to the Future Diary, which made all the enthusiasts sad. But wait, no official cancellation statement has been made by Studio Asread or any of the other official parties involved with this animation. Despite the enormous demand for part 2, there are very limited chances of the reissue of the second part.
It’s tough to say whether Season 2 will be released or not. The main reason for cancellation is that Part 2 of the story is already completed. And if any official words about the second season are made, it is most likely that the second season is set to premiere in late 2022 or early 2023.
