The upcoming movie Furiosa is both a spin-off and prequel of 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the entire premise of the series is set in the post-apocalyptic world. Furthermore, it is speculated to release in theaters on May 24, 2024.

The story of Furiosa is portrayed as follows:
When the world fell, young Furiosa gets kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers. Later, she runs into a great Biker Horde, which is led by the Warlord Dementus. As the gang is traveling through the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe.
As the two Tyrants fight against each other for dominance, Furiosa must survive through the rough days and trials to find her way to her home.
The entire script is written by Miller and Mad Max: Fury Road co-writer Nico Lathouris. Furthermore, Miller produced the movie along with his long-time friend, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell (Mad Max: Fury Road, Babe).
Miller’s behind-the-scenes creative team who are working for Furiosa include his longtime Australian collaborators as editor Margaret Sixel, costume designer Jenny Beavan, director PJ Voeten, first assistant and second unit director and stunt coordinator Guy Norris, production designer Colin Gibson, sound mixer Ben Osmo, as well as makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt.
