The Witcher’s Third Season Has Yet To Be Released

The Witcher 3’s release date has not been announced, but it could be a while. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich stated that scriptwriting for Season 3 was completed in early December, but she did not provide an exact start date for principal photography.

Fringilla, Media Simson, Mahesh Jadu, and MyAnna Buring (Tissaia) are all likely to return for season 2.

At the end of season 2, Bart Edwards will return as Emhyr, the leader of Nilfgaard, and he will be the most significant addition to Season 3. He first appears in Season 1 as Duny, Geralt’s knight whom he saves and the father of Ciri. Duny/Emhyr was thought to be dead until recently. He is now looking for his daughter and the power she possesses.
