Engineer’s Day Engineers in India are now creating technological systems for the rest of the world.

Engineer’s Day is celebrated by taking a look at what some of the country’s best engineers are working on and what advice they have for aspiring engineers.

I am proud of the Delhi Metro’s accomplishments. Arthi Rajasekar, Team Leader, Digital & Integrated Systems, Alstom

I’ve been in the urban rail mobility industry for over 13 years, working on projects such as the Delhi Metro, Shenzhen Line 3 (China), Incheon Metro Airport line (Korea), and Agra-Kanpur Metro. . After working on multiple lines of the Delhi Metro beginning with Line 1 in 2003, the project remains near and dear to my heart. The Delhi Metro has avoided 90,000 tonnes of carbon emissions, making it one of India’s most environmentally friendly urban rail networks. I currently lead the team responsible for developing and testing the metro’s interlocking software. “Line 7” will be the longest UTO (driverless system) line in the world. Being a woman or a man isn’t an impediment.

Women in charge of large infrastructure projects are desperately needed.

Gender is no longer an impediment in the field of engineering. Women in engineering will play a critical role in transforming the railway sector, and I’m excited to see it happen.

Harman’s Krishnaraj Lakshminarayanan, Director – Digital Cockpit, Automotive, is a member of a mission-critical team.

Until recently, I was the SPOT’s India Team Lead (system profiling and optimization tools). This team includes about 20 of Harman’s best automotive engineers from around the world. You can rely on them to stay up to date on all current automotive projects. In-car entertainment systems

When driving through village roads, one of our customer programmes encountered a problem with the system restarting. A village road with many trees triggered a flood of messages from the head unit’s light sensor. When they went for a drive, the communication framework loaded and the system was reset. To solve the problem, a new logic had to be introduced. A thorough understanding of your systems is required for problem resolution. Take note of your audience.

An architect’s hat Engineers-in-training must always think like architects when designing systems for the future.

Santosh Reddy Mereddy, SAP Labs India T4 Product Owner, Cloud Migration Acceleration

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Test Automation Tool (TAT) is one of the most notable projects I’ve worked on. According to its creators, TAT is used to test business applications and to assist customers in accelerating their application migration to the cloud, saving them a significant amount of time during scheduled upgrades. Because of this product, customers are happier and more satisfied.
